Queens of the Stone Age — czyli Joshua Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, Jon Theodore powrócili w tym roku z siódmym albumem zatytułowanym „Villains”. Wydana w sierpniu 2017 roku płyta została wyprodukowana przez Marka Ronsona. To pierwszy pełny album Queens of the Stone Age od „…Like Clockwork” z 2013. Oprawę graficzną albumu stworzył ilustrator Boneface, współpracujący z zespołem już przy wcześniejszych wydawnictwach. „Villains” został doceniony przez branżę muzyczną a kilka tygodni temu otrzymał nominację do nagrody Grammy w kategorii Najlepszy Album Rockowy.

Josh Homme, lider zespołu zapewnia, że „Tytuł „Villains” nie nawiązuje do polityki. Nie ma nic wspólnego z Trumpem. To po prostu słowo, które fantastycznie wygląda. Każdy potrzebuje czegoś, z czym może się zmagać - ze swoim czarnym charakterem. I tak było zawsze. Nie mamy na to wpływu.”. Trasa promująca album trwa już od kilku miesięcy a latem przyszłego roku dotrze także do Polski. 19 czerwca 2018 r. zagrają na warszawskim Torwarze. Bilety już w sprzedaży!

Queens Of The Stone Age in Poland!
This will be their only performance in Poland! The American formation will perform at Warsaw Torwar on June 19, 2018 as a part of their new album "Villains" promotion. Tickets are on sale in AlterSklep and at www.ebilet.pl!

Queens of the Stone Age —Joshua Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, Jon Theodore returned this year with their seventh studio album titled "Villains". The album released in August 2017 was produced by Mark Ronson. This is the first complete Queens of the Stone Age album since "...Like Clockwork" from 2013. The album's cover was created by illustrator Boneface, who cooperated with the band before. "Villains" was appreciated by the music industry, and a few weeks ago it was nominated for Grammy Award in category Best Rock Album.

The bands leader - Josh Homme ensures that "the title of "Villains" does not refer to the politics. It has nothing to do with Trump. It's just a word, that looks fantastic. Everyone needs something, that you can struggle with - your villain. It's how it used to be always. We can't help it." The tour promoting the new album lasts a couple of months already, and in Summer it will also visit Poland. June 19 2018 they will play at Warsaw Torwar. Tickets are on sale!
