☠️ RAVE KIKI FUNCTION ☠️

Queer is an undeniable element of both the ballroom and rave culture.
They both originated underground and mostly stay there.
Both celebrate the ways of expressing yourself that are big F you to the heteronormative society.
The fashion world takes inspiration from both of these cultures as they create space where people can express themselves by what fantasy they bring with their looks and attitudes.

The idea behind this function is to tighten the ties in our local ballroom scene as well as giving the chance for the younger generation to reclaim the scene and have fun at the same time. Feel no pressure with it, this function is clearly just to have fun, serve cunt and snatch some trophies.

The leading theme of the night is simply RAVE. So bring it as if you want to get to Berghain real bad. (Kate Moss I am looking in your direction)

Disclaimer: Ballroom is an queer open space created by African-American and Latin-American legends. It’s celebrates all aspects of queer life. There’s no place for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ageism, classism, ableism or hate. I assure you if you are gonna be problematic towards anyone at this event you are gonna be quickly escorted out.
