Legend of the Seagullmen to nowa supergrupa, w której skład wchodzą członkowie metalowych kapel Tool i Mastodon.

Na czele bandu stoi frontman Mastodon, Brent Hinds. Za bębnami siadł Danny Carey z Toola, a skład uzupełniają Dimitri Coats z OFF! oraz twórca animacji i reżyser, Jimmy Hayward. Kapela zadebiutuje na żywo podczas sylwestrowej imprezy Primusa organizowanej w Oakland w Kalifornii.

Legend of the Seagullmen zapowiedzieli też pierwszy longplay. Imienny album grupy ukaże się 9 lutego nakładem Dine Alone Records.
