Koncertowy soundtrack do filmu Coenów

13 stycznia ukaże się płyta z koncertową wersją ścieżki muzycznej do filmu braci Coenów "Co jest grane, Davis?".

We wrześniu w Nowym Jorku odbył się koncert, podczas którego wykonano na żywo piosenki z soundtracku. W Town Hall wystąpili wówczas Jack White, Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford czy The Avett Brothers. Po Nowym Roku zapis tego wydarzenia zostanie wydany na podwójnym albumie "Another Day, Another Time: Celebrating the Music of 'Inside Llewyn Davis'".

Inspiracji do scenariusza filmu dostarczyła biografia muzyka folkowego Dave'a Van Ronka. Zasłynął on budując w latach 50. i 60. w Greenwich Village podwaliny pod scenę folkową. Był jednym z mentorów Boba Dylana, także ze względu na swe lewicowe przekonania. Bohaterem dzieła jest tytułowy Llewyn Davis (w tej roli Oscar Isaac), próbujący przebić się na nowojorskim rynku. W obsadzie znaleźli się także John Goodman, Garrett Hedlund oraz Carey Mulligan i Justin Timberlake.

Oryginalny soundtrack, za którego produkcję odpowiadał T-Bone Burnett ukazał się w listopadzie 2013 roku.
