Alice in Chains grają Rush

Zespół Alice in Chains postanowił zmierzyć się z muzyką Rush. Grunge'owa kapela miała ważny powód, by spróbować się w progresywnym repertuarze.

16 grudnia ukaże się reedycja albumu Rush "2112". Dzieło znów pojawi się w sprzedaży z okazji 40-lecia premiery. Krążek wzbogacony zostanie o nagrania koncertowe, niepublikowane nagrania i covery. Dave Grohl i Taylor Hawkins z Foo Fighers wzięli na warsztat "Overture", a teraz Alice in Chains, by uświetnić jubileuszowe wydawnictwo nagrali swoją wersję "Tears". Ich interpretacji można posłuchać tutaj.

Od 2006 roku wokalistą jest William DuVall, któy zastąpił zmarłego oryginalnego frontmana Layne'a Staleya. Dorobek Alice In Chains zamyka płyta "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here" z maja 2013 roku.

Rush to kanadyjska progresywno-rockowa formacja. Trio sprzedało ponad 40 milionów albumów na całym świecie. Wśró najważniejszych są "2112" i "Moving Pictures". Ostatnia studyjna płyta Rush to "Clockwork Angels" z 2012 roku.
