The greatly received and sold-out sets of Błoto prepared for "Dilla Month" under the banner of "We Remember J Dilla" sparked the creation of a new series at Vertigo in Wrocław. Since it's a shame to wait a whole year for another rendition of the music of the late Jay Dee, "HIP HOP SPECIAL" by the Błoto quartet aims to go a step further. It doesn't focus solely on one artist but explores the beats of various producers responsible for the sound of a specific region. A daunting task, but fear not - Latarnik, Wuja HZG, Cancer G, and OlafSax have these matters under control, holding doctorates in drums and bass in rap. The next direction we're taking is, of course, West Coast! So, if you love DRE's productions, the music of The Pharcyde, Cypress Hill, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, and representatives of g-funk but also appreciate the golden years of the 90s and love the root of hip-hop in the form of N.W.A. or Egyptian Lover, then this evening is tailored especially for you.
