Mogliście widzieć tych gości występujących na scenach Europy z zespołem Dinosaur Truckers, kiedy zostawiali publiczność w stanie bezdechu, ekscytacji i zachwytu. W przerwach w trasach koncertowych The Dinosaur Truckers, Philip Bradatsch and Till koncertują w duecie.

Powracając do tradycji klasycznego songwritingu, akompaniują sobie na gitarach, mandolinie i banjo, oraz śpiewają o życiu takim, jakie jest: strasznym, pięknym, smutnym, przyjemnym. Kontynuują tradycje starych folkowych duetów, jak Stanley Brothers czy Gillian Welch & David Rawlings. Ciche momenty przechodzą chwilami w bardzo głośne, wokalne harmonie zabierają słuchacza daleko i sprawiają, że zanurza się głęboko w folkową tradycję: mroczną i wrażliwą, wściekłą i delikatną.

Karl Culley to akustyczny gitarzysta, autor tekstów i wokalista z Harrogate w północnej Anglii. Obecnie mieszka w Krakowie.

PHILIP BRADATSCH & TILL:
You might have seen these two guys before, performing on stages all over Europe with their band The Dinosaur Truckers, leaving audiences breathless, sweaty and exalted. While The Dinosaur Truckers are taking a break from touring for a little while, Philip Bradatsch and Till are spending their time playing as a duo!

Stripped down to the essentials of songwriting, they accompany each other with acoustic guitar, banjo and mandolin, singing songs about life how it is: dreadful, pretty, sad, enchanting. They carry on a tradition of folk music that’s easily overlooked and forgotten: the old-time folk duet in the tradition of the Stanley Brothers or Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. Quiet moments can become loud at times just as minor thoughts can become monsters. The harmony singing and the brother-like interaction takes the listener away, diving deep into the melancholy of folk music and back into the here and now. Dark, vulnerable, angry - and tender.

Karl Culley is a fingerstyle acoustic guitarist, songwriter and singer from Harrogate, in the North of England. He currently lives in Krakow, Poland.
